Emphysematous cholecystitis is a rare subtype of acute characterized by the presence gas in gallbladder wall secondary to ischemia. Typically, this result cystic artery vascular compromise with concomitant infection from gas-forming organisms such as Clostridium species, Klebsiella or Escherichia coli. The mortality rate emphysematous 15% - 20% compared 1.4% uncomplicated cholecystitis. subsequent development cholecystocutaneous fistula, an abnormal connection between and skin, also complication disease. We describe case 77-year-old male who presented right flank necrotizing fasciitis which developed fistula Once necrotic tissues were adequately debrided, large open wound was treated negative pressure therapy instillation (NPWT-i) utilizing hypochlorous acid (HOCL). closed split-thickness skin graft.
